Welcome to my domain.  This open house is meant to "share knowledge".

The knowledge sharing literature that I think needs to be challenged, and that is that knowledge sharing essentially an engineering problem somehow associated with motivation. It's an input/output problem. If you can understand the levers of motivation, you can design a system that will create the right input, and hey presto, out will come the desired knowledge sharing. Now I'm sure it's perfectly true that motivation matters in many cases, but I can think of lots of instances where knowledge sharing is not obviously instrumental and cannot be said to have motives driving it.

Obama opposes outsourcing of jobs

Continuing to play the anti-outsourcing card, Democrat presidential front-runner Barack Obama on Wednesday said while America cannot "shy away" from globalisation, it would have to take measures to ensure that jobs are not shipped overseas.

"We have to stop providing tax breaks for companies that are shipping jobs overseas and give those tax breaks to companies that are investing here in the United States of America," Obama said in during a debate with rival Senator Hillary Clinton in Cleaveland, Ohio.
